HINAR CAFE at 454 13th, 92101, recently hosted a showing of Kurdish artist Sinan Hezer that depicts the long struggle of the Kurdish peoples through 20th century oppression and lack of homeland. The cafe is a cultural gathering point for the local Kurdish diaspora located in a rebuilt Victorian house in the depths of East Village.
