TODAY’S COFFEES

TODAY’S COFFEES roasted in San Diego on 4/26/24:

DAVID’S ROASTING: Papua New Guinea, Colombia and Costa Rica “Half and Half” Dark/Light roast blend, in an Italian style. San Diego doesn’t have many roasters who create Italian style roasts; this one seems intriguing. Less caffeine, more body and suitable for any brew method—except percolators. Friends don’t let friends use percolators, Pilgrim. http://davidsroasting.com

VIGILANTE: Hawaiian Kona certified organic light roast. Typica and caturra varietals. Konas are a sharp, winey and bright cup of brew that will rip the taste buds right out of the clumsy virgin failing to sip gently at first. Don’t be one. Colombia Half Caff; Colombian La Falda and Sugar Cane decaffeinated Colombian Madre Laura Decaf. They say one can drink this all day. They’re likely quite right. http://vigilantecoffee.com

CAFE MOTO: doesn’t roast on Friday.

COMMON GOOD: Three Cities Espresso. http://commongoodcoffee.com

COMPA: Kenya Kirimiri light roast, washed process, SL-28, SL-34, and Ruiru-11 cultivars. Kenya offers some fine beans. These are some of them. http://compacoffeeroasters,com
